LOL!

I had Dr. Steinberg...who was ok. I didn't really start to hate going to the dentist until I was in the Navy. My first real experience with a Navy dentist was when I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled at once! Nothing wrong with the teeth...they just don't allow you to be on Submarines with wisdom teeth (no dentists on subs is the "reason").
Later, when I was at Pearl Harbor, there was a dental hygenist there that was nicknamed "The Dragon Lady". I know this woman loved to torture young navy guys...just by cleanings! Had this thing called the "sonic cleaner" that was this hook that vibrated at a very high rate. She would put this device so far up under your gums that it would make your toes curl (and not in a good way!!). Anyway, I have a serious phobia now which I feel is entirely justified!
:*)
