DT what is your best advice for AOL in this mkt I have had profits so much in the past only to sit and watch them dissapear dont you think it has more downside potential then up side in the near future being a new trader it only seems to me as crazy as this mkt is the only thing a person can do is sell when there is a gain and take the tax hit only to buy back on pullbacks instead of riding the mkt up &down any thoughts would be appreciated George Schulte

CNN had a person from Stein Roe funds (Erik Gustafson)last night. His contention is that the market will give some back today considering that it gained substantially yesterday. (This is what happens when people trade instead of invest) This giveback will be accelerated by the IBM announcement. In such a case I think it might prevent AOL from flying at the start but I think AOL will hold steady.

Jim Preissler, Internet analyst from PW on CNBC right now, pumping up AOL. Says Gateway deal good for AOL. AOL, a standout over Yahoo. Pretty strong comments. Presume it will have some positive impact and will provide the impetus to the stock today.
