Dan my man....I made that switch 14 years ago....and it is indeed, much, much different. Have worn several management hats over the years and am a registered principal. First in in the morning, last out at night. Long hours, but great rewards in developing people and feeling like you made a difference in their, and their families, lives. good luck on LONE...I own even more shares than you, I am hopefully enthusiastic!
