Everybody thinks so highly of Cramer. You'll like this post.

You know I think Cramer is very entertaining but he is so animated I have a hard time taking him seriously.

I've been around the block a few times, and in my opinion, Cramer is one of the most honest guys on Wall Street. Who else is so quick and clear most of the time in admitting his own mistakes?

He's a TRADER for pete's sake!!! He does not purport to give us advice on what to buy and hold. He's in and out and back in again based on his constantly changing information and perceptions. His main goal in writing his pieces is to show those of us who are less experienced and less in tuned to the operations of Wall Street insiders how a hedge fund manager such as himself might see things as they unfold on any given day in the markets. An honest and entertaining perspective from an experienced hedge fund manager is all he promises, and he gives it.

The only thing I fault him on recently is that he implied LU should have spoken out against the criticism of the Street.com piece. But last quarter he and others on Wall Street were lambasting McGinn for speaking out ahead of earnings to assuage fears raised by the shortsellers. Cramer said on a number of occassions thereafter that McGinn should not have said anything but rather should have simply waited for the numbers come out, letting them speak for themselves. (That apparently is what McGinn is doing this time.)
