Steve, your thoughts on Interactive Pictures Corporation (IPIX) and the net interactive photography scene (with BAMB's recent IPO being the more prominant) in general.

Do you see Kodak possibly becoming involved in this sector at some point?

Always grateful for your time.

Steve, what do you make of the decline in viewership experienced by some major internet media portals, including AOL, Yahoo, Lycos, and, last but not least, Go2Net, as reported by Media Matrix for the month of September. One analyst in a Reuter's report (http://dailynews.yahoo.com/h/nm/19991022/wr/tech_mediametrix_2.html) expressed an opinion that these numbers may not be accurate and are perhaps over emphasized. Another analyst attributed the decline in market share experienced by the major portals as being the result of market segmentation resulting from a growing recognition of the value of alternative portals to the top 10. Is this one month decline the beginning of a trend or a seasonal abberation, and how do you see this new information affecting valuations of the negatively impacted companies, if at all.

Sincerely,
Puck

Steve: have you had a chance to look at KWIC(Kennedy-Wilson). They are coming
out with a new (eproperty.com) auction site. To the best of my knowledge this is an
internet first. It is up and running, with the first online auction ever scheduled in a couple
of weeks. I am wondering if this should be valued as an ecommerce play or as a real
estate play? Earnings are very good...but, if valued as an ecommerce play it seems
extremely undervalued at these levels. Thanks a lot.

Steve,

Have you looked at LEAF yet? Do you agree that the companies which provide the wireless to internet link might be the HOTTEST ever seen? I'm watching this one.

INPH - Interphase reports record EPS on very strong fiber channel sales. Only 6.3 million shares outstanding. Any thoughts?

Hi Steve,

Any thoughts on INTF (Interface Systems Inc)? Their products for the broker/dealer community are beginning to gain widespread acceptance...their ebilling products have signed on several gorillas...others in their sector (NEON, LEAF) are flying...and it appears that institutions have begun to nibble. They report numbers the first week in November. I do not expect to be dissapointed. I would suggest that others reading this thread do some dd on the company. You wont be dissapointed either.

steve, the move from desknet to pocketnet.....

sounds like the next big move--from internet computing, to internet telecommuting.

i have been looking at spyg quite closely and their ties with general instrument, toshiba, microsoft--their WAP membership also looks good to me.

is spyg a buy at these level?

p.s. i know it was a better buy a couple weeks ago at $10!
