Good morning Jenna and Kendall,
regarding IBM:
<<<Microsoft and its earnings report led the charge as the tech stocks rose upward. However, after the close of trading in New York, IBM said its earnings matched analyst expectations, but it also warned that customers are delaying purchases of its powerful network and database servers due to worries that the Year 2000 date change may cause widespread computer failures. Sales of the machines fell 40
percent during the quarter, a drop that was greater than anticipated.

As trading on regional stock exchanges continued past the 4 p.m. close in New York, IBM's shares gave up nearly all their ground. IBM finished down 1/8 at 107, and in after-hours trading on Instinet, sank to 102. >>>

As of the Y2K scare, I am out yesterday, today and tommorrow for the
DRILL of Y2K. I will NOT be able to trade at all. Will check on the news once in every 2-3 hours or early morning.
Have a great trading day...
kha

yes, shorting will be a large part of the new Market Gems.

But not the main focus I hope!

Yuck - too much red everywhere this morning.
