Gareway has always been suspect in my mind ,since moving its headquarters to San Diego. The computer company needs to develop a hand held product ,and now that time may be at hand. Now AOL announces that it plans to invest $800 million in Gateway. The companies also plan to to develop and market hand-held devices to access the internet. This all begs the question; dose the handset division up the street for sale fit in our grand plans? The 800 million certainly helps fill the bill if one is planning a major acquisition.Well this is all just some food for thought in the mist of an ugly market day led by IBM and its Y2K bull.Lets remember though there is a Q gorilla in the mist waiting to pounce on the burgeoning wireless market.

Re the studies ABC cited: we were not told how old, how much radiation they used, and many other factors. Like ABC's testing of only analog, I would assume the studies are outdated by now anyway. Similar to a lot of studies of supposed carcinogens, as far as I know, if you give massive enough doses of just about anything you will show an effect. There was no control whatsoever on the information ABC provided. It's another "O so sincere" bullshit job.
