JFD, Just wait and you will get more volatility. MSFT 90 7/8 to 91 pre-market---meaning that if it turns higher, the Nasdaq is going to swing in a big way. Unfortunately, Dell or Intel might not be of much help at least early in trading.
Today is going to be very interesting in all of the tech sectors. Will internets go up because they are consumer oriented business rather than business.

Bond yields now dropping---How does that fit into the equation?
Will be interesting.

are you saying that by selling a few s & p futures contracts into an illiquid after hours market, a fund manager can then buy millions of microsoft shares the next day at a discount from where they would have otherwise traded?
