Kim said the company did not plan to resume construction on two chip plants in Britain at least until late next year and would have to consider the issue seriously at that time.

Construction on the two plants, initiated before the two companies merged, have been suspended since South Korea ran into a severe financial crisis in mid-1997.

''Our plan for next year doesn't have (plans) to resume construction on the plants, but we will have to make a decision late next year or the year after that,'' he said.

Buying some Nov 60 calls here in preparation for the tout-fest. If DJII holds 10200, and that looks like the plan today, then it looks like MU will hold 62 as well. (Tuesday's low of ~60 was well-defended on Wednesday morning -- if you want a picture of a "test of support" for your notebook, that's it.)
