I think the digital handset radiation is a fraction of AMPS radiation. And the new 3210, 8850 and 8210 models have considerably lower radiation leves than the stub-antenna models. It would take the edge off the "news" magazine if they dwelled on technological improvements too much.

My understanding (I could be corrected as I'm NO expert) is that digital sets emit much LESS radiation - especially CDMA handsets since it is a low power solution. There was talk by others about this on the QCOM thread.
