Economic Data for Monday, October 25, 1999 Existing Home Sales for Sept.= -2.1% to 5.13m units nar.realtor.com Sales of existing single-family homes for September fell 2.1 percent to a seasonally annual adjusted rate* of 5.13 million units sold, compared to an August pace of 5.24 million units. Despite this decline, existing-home sales have remained above the five-million mark for 11 consecutive months. Compared to September 1998, home sales increased 3.4 percent.
