Carol, did you mean MS Word 97? I have that and any proper
internet address inserted automatically turns blue after
hitting the enter key. Proper means it starts with http://

Most e-mail programs also turn URLs blue. Please post if
that isn't happening and detail the software you use.

Carol,

In addition to G's comment, I believe the recipient's email program has to be configured for "html", rather than "plain text". Then the info will appear as a hotlink. Otherwise, it is a matter of "copy and paste"...somewhat more tedious, but not difficult.

If the email program of the recipient is MS Express, the default is usually "html". Some other email software is the reverse, normally easy to change.
