Jeff,

Just a matter of time before someone starts a rumor that short Canadians have been spotted crammed on makeshift life rafts flocking to the Caymans.

Man you're good! That's no rumour that's a secret plan I've been working on for several months - how did you find out about it so quickly?

Just so that you can keep up-to-date I've dropped the plans for a raft in favour of something that fits in a bit more with what the natives of the Caymans are cruising around in. Here's the starting point - a high-quality Canadian-made hull and deck: harrisellis.com

It'll look a bit like this when it's done:
harrisellis.com
but of course there will be computer workstations installed so that we can do naked shorts via the internet on the trip down to the Carribean. The tentative name for the boat is the "Short Sail", unless someone comes up with somthing better.

I've found that if you're going to go through the trouble of starting a rumour, you might as well make it a really wild-assed one. When do you, Janice, Zonkie, TideGlider, marcos and Mr. Forthright go on staff at PINC? ;-)

Best Regards,
John Sladek
