Jeffry White: You will always be better off plotting a formation on the shortest reasonable time interval. (EDIT: And then pan back if necessary to see the overall picture.)

Some formations are not as doable using the Futures charts, as I do not use after hours data to plot charts. I will tell you that if after hours trading becomes more of a factor it may require a highly revised approach to charting for me.

I am not sure how to factor in the additional behavior patterns.
