George - I think you are seeing the difference between Diamond Deposit and Commercial Diamond Deposit. The first one is an indicator of the second but not worth anything other than that. JP

Hi George,

This is a good read. Keep in mind this is the first and only diamond mine in Canada to this date. The time scale throws cold water on the excitement of any grass roots diamond find like TWG's. Doubtless, the exploration phase may proceed faster, but you should note that government and public interest groups are knowledgeable now on the in's and out's of diamond mines which means the speeded up exploration phases of development now get counterbalanced by the ever lengthening development phase negotiations with governments, natives, environmentalists, etc.

Hiya George! TWG is still in the very early phases of a magnificent discovery, but mind you, keep an eye on that one, their results to date have been the exception rather than the norm. Reported findings have thus far (from the Ungava) been brilliant, as the Aussies would say. Market reaction has been skeptical and seemingly of false expectations, a sign of the times. However what's been released so far looks, again, exceptional.
Also, again referring to your quandary, remember the market rises and falls with news, expectations, etc.

The same goes for others, e.g., Marum. MMU's reportings of late are terrific, yet this is a "show me" market. Consider the dimensions of the Marum's recently reported outlined anomaly/ deposit strata. Gigantic. .. As we see more results and proof, the market should hopefully wake up and take note. And as Sudhir Khanna said lately, as this thing develops there is lots of room for market attention (that's my paraphrase, meaning, plenty of room for upward price movement!).

- Re. the Twin Gold discovery, I see Marum has placed one of TWG's photos of the exposed Dyke on their home page:

Caption: The initial diamond count from the dike is extremely high, matching or surpassing most NWT initial counts.
-----
Back to the Chinchaga, see Marum's last several NR's to fathom the AB deposit in question, in terms of promise:

- significant potential for diamonds, lots of support for that so far including "the diamond potential of the area by the collection of many samples with large amounts of magmatic mineral crystals", in the area outlined as 160 by 60km (and more!)

- for base metals, with extremely high anomalous values assayed from samples from an "estimated vertical or stratigraphic range of up to 200 metres, extending over an area measuring 160Km by 60Km"

- and gold-- an area measuring over an area 33km in length, with high percentage initial assays there as well

Currently,
I guess news was, as per industry norm, a lil delayed last week. And since the Chin field program is, in part at least, results driven, I'm assuming crews have waited til at least now to return to the field? DIM and Au tests are imminent, to my understanding.

Back to mining logistics, remember that Alberta is just about THE friendliest province in Canada when it comes to environmental, aboriginal, taxation, etc concerns,, in terms of mine development; then there's the comparatively superior infrastucture and weather advantages in the Chinchaga region... and on 'n on...
______

Anyway Georgy, hang in there me thinks.
IMO, we SH's are involved in something big. As Marum proves this mammoth beast up, we shareholders will hopefully be justly rewarded.

All the best,
-j
