PARTLY OFF-TOPIC (but I didn't start the off-topic stuff :) Lucius and everyone,I think that it is probable that SEBL has crossed the chasm into the mainstream. For others not as familiar with the terminology as Lucius is, I'll remind you not to confuse "mainstream" with Main Street. Those of you who aren't familiar with the terms and the ramifications, Geoff Moore's Gorilla Game is a must-read. As far as having crossed the chasm is concerned, there is no question in my mind that Siebel's product is well into the bowling alley and possibly (probably?) in the tornado. People like me who are entrenched in traditional valuations will always fear the high stock price, but in a long-term view the stock is probably undervalued. Don't be disappointed when (if) the stock tanks again as it did last October and don't be disappointed if you stay out of the stock only to see it rise dramatically over the long term. So far, Siebel Systems (the company and the stock) is behaving like a classic leader in the quest for gorilladom. OK, now on to the on-topic stuff. :)BTW, it's likely that CTXS still hasn't crossed the chasm. I used to think that also, until I learned from press releases coming out of the customer conference that there are 15 million users and 98 of the Fortune 100 are also users. Yesterday I read most of Inside the Tornado , a book written by Geoff Moore, primary author of Gorilla Game . Whereas Game is focused on info for investors, Tornado is focused on information for the executive management teams of companies about how to negotiate the bowling alley and the tornado. There is a TON of easy-to-read information that will help any investor evaluate the extent to which management is doing the right things at the right time. As much as Game is a must-read, I'll be reading Tornado several times. Once I am able to focus on the issues raised in the book relative to what Citrix's management seems to be doing, I'll report in and/or ask questions for further clarification. --Mike Buckley
