Aware, Inc. Announces DSL Development and Licensing Agreement With Intel
BEDFORD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 20, 1999--Aware, Inc (NASDAQ:AWRE - news) today announced that it has entered into an agreement under which Intel has licensed Aware's technology for use in its future DSL product offerings. Under the agreement, Aware will provide Intel with both full-rate ADSL and G.Lite technology. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Over the last year, deployments of DSL services by telephone companies have grown at a rapid pace. We are pleased to be working with Intel to develop dual-mode full-rate and G.Lite solutions for the rapidly growing DSL industry. We believe that Intel's commitment will further increase the market's growth rate, bringing the vision of ubiquitous broadband access closer to reality,' said Michael A. Tzannes, president and chief executive officer of Aware, Inc.
