In 1932 the Japanese told the Chinese the same thing. It was all part of an extension to the Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere arrangement. Then Japan invaded China to liberate China from oppression. Economic disagreement got pushed under the rug so that Japan would get all the economic benefit.

Global economy doesn't mean one worlder. Why these left wing types think a one-world has any redeeming value is beyond me. It is critical that diversity is retained. When countries talk through individuals they seem to design actions as though the countries were individuals rather than individuals representing groups. Whatever they express sovereignty brings self interest to the forefront.

The US doesn't have a strong dollar policy. You can't believe Summers. He just works for himself. The US has no dollar policy. It can't. The dollar is the world's reserve currency. It is that because the wealth is there, but the real reason is the US ability to wage war.

If the US pursues inflationary policies which the FED is effectively doing now, the dollar will proceed downward. Have you noticed that no one has an adequate or any explanation for the dollar weakness? I've expressed one for 2 years and its the only one. It is the root cause of the growing intrinsic inflation which is obverse to the past 20 year's intrinsic deflation. The reversal is all due to the FED intervention in the free market's determination of the price of money. Every other purported cause is derivative of that.
