Mike, nice to know there is one place in on earth left, a rational individual can resort to to discuss investments.

IBM & DELL not tanking much on horrible news leads me to believe, as mush as I hate it, the market is going to recover once again. Fluff IPOs continue getting billion $$$ valuations also does not help. I guess it would take millions of Americans looking for food before I put my cash to work again.

Actually I did buy some RJR today at 20. I really don't
have a any moral issue with that. MCD, KO and many others are responsible for much greater harm to our health, IMHO.

Now a tax question. My accountant wants me to report a
short gain/loss at tax time on an open short position.
Does it make sense?
