SALT LAKE CITY, Oct 21, 1999 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- GolfAgent USA, a wholly owned subsidiary of PrimeHoldings.com (OTC Bulletin Board: PRIM) and the exclusive licensee of the GolfAgent online tee-time reservation system in the United States, today announced a marketing agreement with Golfnet, Inc. to bring online tee-time booking to more than 1,300 public and private U.S. golf courses. Under the agreement, Golfnet, Inc., the second-largest provider of golf handicap and tournament services in the United States, and GolfAgent USA, will work together to introduce the GolfAgent system to current and future Golfnet clients (golf courses). Additional details of the agreement were not released. "Golfnet is the best possible partner we could work with to quickly establish the GolfAgent system as the de facto online tee-time reservation system in the U.S.," said Michael Barron, president of GolfAgent USA. "The company has working agreements with the largest infrastructure of public and private golf courses in America. Their industry relationships, established distribution channels and existing infrastructure of equipment and personnel will help introduce GolfAgent USA to the Golfnet network of clubs they provide service to in an estimated nine to twelve months." Don Stromberg, president of Golfnet, Inc., said the agreement will provide Golfnet with the opportunity to further cement relationships with golf courses and their owners. "Through this agreement Golfnet is able to provide additional services to member clubs and golfers," he said. About the GolfAgent Online Tee-time Reservation System The GolfAgent system (www.golfagent.com), currently used extensively throughout Great Britain and Ireland (including the famed St. Andrews course in Scotland) and rapidly expanding into many other parts of the world, allows golfers to schedule their own tee times at local or distant courses through the Internet. Participating golf courses use the local GolfAgent software to schedule tee-times via phone and can also synchronize their system with the GolfAgent server to make all open tee times available on the GolfAgent web site for remote purchase. Alternatively, golfers can call GolfAgent's toll-free telephone line and speak to live representatives who can place the reservation for them. The GolfAgent system benefits golf courses by helping to sell unreserved tee times and by eliminating the overhead required to answer phone calls and place manual reservations. In exchange, GolfAgent receives a small percentage of each greens fee transaction. GolfAgent will also profit through planned affinity marketing programs with golf courses and golf-related product providers, targeted at golfers who use the GolfAgent system. About Golfnet, Inc.
