Donald,

It may be a paper umbrella instead of a hanging man.
I thought the Hanging man was at the top of an uptrend.

Donald,
I'm just starting to pick up some about candlesticks.
How do you think the mechanics of opening the SPX affects candlestick chart reading. In particular, SPX "open" today was 1285, but my guess is if one takes the actual opening values of each component, it wouldn't really corollate to 1285, but much lower. This in turn would create a diff candlestick pattern, no?
Thanks for any thoughts on this.

Donald,

Would you say the hanging man in the indicies ie dow, spx, oex represents a change in trend. Will we likely see a drop now friday, monday etc ... Also if we drop are you expecting it to hit the 9850 (dow) mark then bounce again?
