Don,

Excuse me for butting in, but is it really appropriate to use the SPX open on quote.com as 1289.43 (which is what I am assuming you are doing) for the candle for the SPX which was the posted high, when this did not reflect most of the issues having opened at that time.

I think if one were to take the actual opening prices of the SPX components with proper weighting, the open would be closer to 1275, which would yield a somewhat different pattern.

If I am off base here, let me know.
