but think about it: every time they rescue the market via the futures, a bit of liquidity goes down the drain. and since whoever is doing the buying needs to sell again at some point, the supply overhang caps the rallies. note also that it is the most speculative and overvalued issues that are rallying, which is a sign that a fair amount of short covering is fueling the rallies, as naturally these are the stocks with the biggest short positions.
re: the futures, i just, hope they are not bought with money printed exclusively for that purpose...if so, the game will never end.
BGEN and G are the next stocks to collapse....
