Ish, I've watched a lot of geezers get sneaky over the years. My mother had an absolute talent for getting half of the world to run errands for her by being "frail and delicate." But this is way out of the ordinary run of poor health, forgetfulness, and confusion. This is savage in its intensity.

So true, Ish. I stayed with my Dad the last few months of his life. Most of the time he was chemoed out of his mind. On top of that he had been deaf for years -- had a nuke-power hearing aide (which he never wore) and kept the TV turned up to about 140 db all the time. When my cousin and his wife would come over, we'd go down a long hall and into the kitchen where we could still barely hear ourselves think. One wrong word and there was a roar from half a house away -- "YOU'RE ALL FULL OF SHIT. I NEVER SAID THAT!"

Jesus!

Delbert -- this probably proves there is or is not a God. I never figured it out. Carry on.
