It doesn't matter what they are called. They are the "MOUTHS". And they tell you what they want you to think.
What they tell you is for their own good not your own good.
There is no right or wrong, no bear or bull. There is just the game.

Comdex Fall 99 is the largest tech convention in the world and it begins soon. This show also drives up prices in the tech stocks each year. Do you remember me talking about project Bluetooth and AOL wireless Internet?

Bluetooth, Info Appliances, and USB Featured Exhibit Areas at COMDEX/Fall '99

COMDEX/Fall '99 today released the full line-up of technology and vendor pavilions confirmed for this year's event. Featured technologies in these exhibit areas include information appliances, the Bluetooth wireless initiative, Universal Serial Bus and Kodak solutions. Sponsors of this year's COMDEX pavilion program include Eastman Kodak Company, National Semiconductor, the U.S. General Services Administration Office of Government Policy, and the Bluetooth Special Interest Group. COMDEX/Fall '99 will celebrate its 20th anniversary in Las Vegas this November 15-19, 1999.

The phenomenal growth of information and the Internet is creating a huge demand for a host of new, easy-to-use devices for the home and the office. This new breed of information access and sharing devices – information appliances – is here and attendees will be able to see them all at the Information Appliances Pavilion, sponsored by National Semiconductor Corporation. This pavilion, housed in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center, will undoubtedly be one of the most popular technology areas at this year's event.

The Bluetooth technology initiative, which looks to revolutionize wireless connectivity for personal and business mobile devices, will make its first appearance at COMDEX/Fall this year. Bluetooth looks to expand the communications capabilities of mobile computers, mobile phones and other mobile devices by enabling seamless voice and data transmission via wireless, short-range radio, without the need for cables. The open specification for this innovative technology is being developed through the combined contributions of the members of the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG), which includes the Bluetooth founding companies: Ericsson, IBM, Intel, Nokia and Toshiba. The Bluetooth Pavilion at COMDEX/Fall will bring together the leading companies of the Bluetooth SIG to answer questions related to the technology, as well as demonstrate Bluetooth-enabled applications and solutions.

Universal Serial Bus (USB) allows technology users to connect easily from computers to peripherals, digital devices, PC telephony and videoconferencing. The Universal Serial Bus Pavilion, sponsored by the Universal Serial Bus Implementors Forum, will offer a wide variety of USB-compliant products that have instant connectivity to the PC through USB plugs and ports. USB plugs and ports exist on computers shipped since 1987. American Megatrends; Belkin Components; Cypress Semiconductor; Divio, Inc.; Icron Systems, Inc.; Indesign, LLC; Microchip Technology, Inc.; Mitsubishi Electronics America, Inc.; PCTEI, Inc.; Ray Chen Corporation; ScanLogic Corporation; and SMSC-Standard Microsystems have already committed to exhibiting in this pavilion, which will be housed in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The COMDEX/Kodak Solutions Pavilion, sponsored by Eastman Kodak Company, offers the next wave of imaging, software applications, custom solutions and peripherals from companies that support Kodak's products and services in their solutions. Exhibitors in the pavilion include solution providers, independent software vendors, independent hardware vendors and OEMs. Attendees can find the pavilion next to the Eastman Kodak Corporate booth in the Las Vegas Convention Center's North Hall.

Each year, COMDEX/Fall presents the world's largest and most influential IT event. This year's event will focus on technology for the new e-conomy, and host more than 2,000 exhibiting companies, thousands of product launches, and 200,000 resellers, IT professionals, developers and corporate managers. Co-located with COMDEX/Fall ‘99 will be the debut of Linux Business Expo, a forum for business managers and IT professionals to learn more about making an enterprise investment in Linux. More information on Linux Business Expo is available at www.linuxbizexpo.com.

This is the main Comdex web page.

zdevents.com

This can be a great resource to find investment opportunities for both short and long term investments.

There should be a link somewhere off this page which gives an overview of the company speeches that will become press releases on
the day they are made. Sort of a look at tomorrows newspaper today.
