The past is easy, the future is unknown. RE:"If Y2K does have a material affect on the market I'm sure you will then be grinning and picking stocks with all your cash like a kid at a candy store saying you were right all along! ;)" Y2K has already had a material effect on the market, and it will increase. I'd venture to say the DOW would be closer to 12k than 10k right now without Y2K looming... McJimbo...
