The simple answer is Gateway had good numbers and did a deal with AOL

when an analyst talks down a stock with reasoning i don't agree with, i just look at it as an opportunity to buy calls. when they were talking down gateway, i was buying.

Why would you expect Intel's ASP (chips) to go up next Q? Hasn't the trend been in the other direction? Even if ASP goes down, I'm sure they can make up for it in volume and by selling other products.
