Disinvestment: Babus seek relief from 'GAS'- GAIL roadshow to begin Friday. GAIL (Gas Authority of India) gail.nic.in Gail GDR roadshow to begin on Friday THE disinvestment programme for Gas Authority of India Ltd (Gail) will be launched on Friday with the roadshows for the GDR being kicked off in Mumbai. The government will be putting on the block about 120-140 million shares through global depository receipts. The government's stake in the company will be reduced to 63 per cent once the disinvestment process is completed. The GDR roadshow would take off in Mumbai and then move on to Abu Dhabi, Hong Kong, London, New York, Singapore, Amsterdam, Washington and San Francisco. The GDR pricing would be done through the book-building method. (FE - 10/22/99)
