>they are shooting the old soldiers one at a time -- today IBM, tomorrow?

It is quite simple. Every high tech momo company in the US is slowly reporting that they can't quite keep the game going, because of nuclear winter.

And since those are the same 50 companies which have been keeping the indexes from collapsing, all the money is fleeing into stocks where they know there is NO CHANCE OF DISAPPOINTMENT. They're going into internut stocks, which everyone knows are already failures, yet still havent gone to zero for some unknown reason. (manipulation, stupid investors, corrupt fund managers, take your pick)

Some kind of sector rotation. Eventually the nation will move all of its money into the bank account of a guy named Vinnie in new jersey because he'll promise to give us 30% a year on our trillions, "guaranteed."

And the sheeple are led to slaughter.

BTW- Guess what, not only did I not go broke on my AOL call pick yesterday, I made quite a bit of money. Oh darn.

GST,

The weather in Vancouver is glorious. Still lots of people sailing, windsurfing etc, and skiing(snow) is just around the corner. I love this place....

How has gold been for you of late? I know you must have made out well with the recent spike.

Regards, D.
