I haven't seen the film - well- darn- I can't even remember the name of it!!!-- the one about heroes- who are not really terribly heroic- or maybe they are- I don't know- having not seen it.
It has William what's his name (LOL-- this is really going well, isn't it!) in it. THe Fargo guy, the Mr Holland's Opus guy, I love him. William you know.

Anyway--- I picture DARians kinda like that-- scratch the surface of us and we have all these wonderful depths. Do you think everyone is like that? Is this a morality lesson?

You would walk by me on the street. Housewife. Boring.
Would we look at Lather- agh-scientist nerd- noooooo-boring.
Our Paul? Eeeek- lost in the 60s- nooo boring
Croc- the woman HIKES everywhere- she stares out her window at the landscape. Good grief. boring
X- has three kids- oh yeah she has a brain?
Mellie-She sells men's apparel?
Cobe- I am planting trees and doing needlepoint?
Freddy- Uncle Sam by Jackson Pollack
TC- my Mr Yuppie.
I know I'm forgetting people, but you get the idea...
There is so much HERE.
If I were some genius writer I would take our lives and write them- alternating the surface of us with all that flows beneath. Becuase we are so damn representative of our time.

Well, I should confess that I am drinking wine because my (yuppie) husband has had great success at work. And we are celebrating.
Which has made me- in typical DARian style- pensive...
