I've already seen some speculation that this afternoon's blab was a "trial balloon" and the market's party-on attitude that followed virtually guarantees a rate hike at the next FOMC meeting (mid-November, I think, right around expiration). "AL.com" (moniker courtesy of Mr. Fleck) must be sweating bullets as he tries not to get blamed for the collapse. ------- Looks like Gillette is the next DJII stock to get taken out and shot. They announced earnings after the close and got beat up in after-hours trading. Poor revenues by some of the divisions, blah blah.
