Orchid Chemcials & Pharmaceuticals Ltd- Sales up 33% orchidpharma.com Orchid Chem H1 net rises 9% to Rs 19 cr ORCHID Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd has recorded a 9 per cent growth in net profit at Rs 19.21 crore for the six months period ended September 30, '99 over Rs 17.56 crore in the same period last year. Sales went up by 33 per cent to Rs 175.36 crore (Rs 131.64 crore). Other income was at Rs 32 lakh (Rs 1.07 crore). Interest outgo increased to Rs 17.26 crore (Rs 13.65 crore). Depreciation almost doubled to Rs 13.38 crore (Rs 7.33 crore). There was no provision for taxation. (fe-10/22/99)
