Bottom Line.....

"Operating loss and net loss for the fourth fiscal quarter, which include special charges in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, were $9.5 million and $5.9 million, respectively."

They lost .24 per share for the quarter.
That's after buying back 2 million shares and includes the one time Xionic's income. Shareholders equity decreased from 125 Million to 99 Million.

John,
I've been out of country for the last two weeks so I don't feel qualified enough to comment on PTEC's quality of earnings. I missed the conference call and I did not like the additional write-offs that the company took this last quarter. However, I did like revenues and I thought the "shareholders rights plan" that Phoenix announced yesterday, was very positive. Obviously many other investors liked it too. We will see though, what happens after November 4, if Phoenix will still be able to hold yesterday's gain.
