Ed Re: "Dell YTD 6.33% return". Depends on how you played it. Since most folks here are fairly active traders, I'd say returns are probably a bit more than 6.33%. All stocks have their flat periods, that's why lots of folks (me included) have both long-term core holdings and trading shares or accounts to play the peaks and valleys of the trading range. Dell has actually been a pretty good trading stock this year, as long as you don't get emotionally involved you can make some $$, as lots on this thread have done.
Cheers

Ed,

Thanks for your response.

Is your point that DELL is performing just like the averages? That is one of the reasons that I'm thinking of selling.

Regards,
EFM

I am surprised that the work Prick is used in upscale journalism. Since it is officially permitted I will just say that Lou Gerstner
was a pompous, unprofessional prick to make the comments he did about IBM causing the stock to suffer a severe downturn. Hope that Dell will come out of its 10 month slump but as Sig has shown historically Dell has gone through many slumps over the years only to come roaring back.
Hopefully history will repeat itself.
