msnbc.com OT: This is off-topic and disturbing. The Echelon program combined with Lexus-Nexus gives unscrupulous politicians the means to monitor individual activity. Big Brother is much closer than we realize. I knew a programmer who worked on the Lexus-Nexus project. He said Clinton gave the order to set this up. Information is a powerful weapon, especially the wrong kind of information. Example Filegate: it allowed the Clintonistas to control the Republican Senators forcing some resignations. Now, it is possible to control rank and file individuals with information. The prospect of a "George Orwell 1984" happening is scary, and very real. Electing Socialist or Socialist leaning leaders such as Bill Clinton will hasten the country's demise into a totalitarian socialist state.
