They may be competing in the low end but Via continues to do business with AMD and Intc in other areas......which makes how Intc and AMD view Via fairly relevant to Via (I would think). After all, there are other motherboard/chipset manufacturers and Via still needs that business.

Assuming that is true,I then would think that going out of their way to p*ss off either Intc or AMD is pretty stupid especially over something that generates extra revenues only over the short term. Its not enough in my opinion to make it worth their while.

BTW forgot that it was Tom Pabst.
