re: Sometimes it seems Greenspan has completely lost touch with reality. Doug, I've addressed this very thing for quite some time now. I can not understand how when an individual who has (in some cases) a lifetime or two worth of work invested in the gold mining industry turned from profit to loss, and their entire world is lost, our fine Dr. Greenspan finds it only "constructive destruction". When, though, the shoe is on the other foot there is not even slightest pain delivered to the greatest majority of bullion bankers & brokers as the Federal Reserve saves us all from "systemic risk". This CRAP MUST END! If they go swimmin naked with the sharks, they too should suffer, no matter whose friends they are. Every time I find an accomplished skilled miner working two min wage jobs while the shorts are being bailed out and living like KINGS & each of us has watched a scale reduction of our valid investments in good firms reduced by thousands of %, I am simply angry.
