J.T. my biggest problem is with the way the market is manipulated...we should have had a washout on Monday, and every time the Dow dipped below 10K i saw big futures buyers come in which provoked program buying and rescued the indices. since there was no obvious reason for the buying i conclude that it was a (successful) attempt to manipulate the market just as it was on the edge of a cliff. the game is rigged in favor of the bulls and we have to seriously question whether our technical indicators and/or the fundamentals will ever amount to anything again. obviously there are powerful vested interests that want to keep this bubble going at all costs. so i suspect that while the broad list of stocks will continue it's bear market, it may well be that the indices NEVER join in due to the manipulation.

regards,
