Wayne, One of the great jokes of manic bubbles is that the bulls always adjust the valuation models to meet the price levels. <g> Totally sophomoric reasoning. And it begs the question: why do the valuations stay high when the "certain" eps growth stops? The only answer is that the buyers don't have a clue.

Again, another reason why Mike Murphy earned a negative 8% on his money in last year's bull market. <g> And why Merrill only employs those "analysts" who can figure out a way to sucker dummies into banking deals.

being cheap relative to the s&p doesn't mean squat if the s&p is way over valued.
