Jon. Here is a Netscape help web page. I can't tell you for sure whether installing 4.61 over 4.04 will cause you to loose the bookmarks because I didn't do it that way. I uninstaled 3.xx, installed 4.61, and imported my saved bookmarks from a floppy. Probably, Netscape would not loose the bookmarks--but probably is not good enough. You can copy the "bookmark.htm" file to a safe place--like a floppy backup and then, should you loose it, import it from the floppy (really you should back it up any way). Please note that there are two "bookmark.htm" files in 4.04 (and 4.61) and I don't know quite why. The one with your bookmarks is the large one.
