Totally agree with you on all the points you have made. I look for things to improve starting this week. Remember the numbers that the deadskins put up against Dallas in the first game of the year were without Deion and Kevin Smith. Both are healthy now so Dallas can try to focus on their running game which hurt them in the first match up. Should be a great game to watch. Hope Gailey gets things ironed out before Sunday.

Cowboys-Redskins: What's at stake
10/24/99

By David Moore / The Dallas Morning News

Washington (4-1) at Dallas (3-2).

WHEN/WHERE: Noon Sunday, Texas Stadium

TV/RADIO: Fox (Ch. 4); KVIL-FM (103.7), KMKT-FM (93.1), KRVA-AM-FM (Spanish, 1600, 107.1)

FOR DALLAS: Consecutive losses to Philadelphia and the New York Giants have left the Cowboys in a precarious position. Another division loss could be crippling to the team's hopes of winning the NFC East. Shifting the focus to the wild-card race this early in the season is never a good sign.

FOR WASHINGTON: The Redskins are arguably playing as good as any team in the league. Dallas represents a significant hurdle. A win would give Washington a two-game lead in the division. A loss would drop the Redskins into a tie with the Cowboys, and Washington would lose any tiebreaker down the road since Dallas would have swept the season series.
