Actually, his appearances on Hollywood Squares were in the '70s, so I cannot swear he was on the wagon....

Actually Alice came up with "Welcome to My Nightmare" when he was in Rehab. It's considered one of his greatest albums. That's where "Only Women Bleed" came from. Actually, I think he did better sober, myself. He's just outdated, like Duran Duran or Def Leopard, etc. Not to mention the youth of America don't like him because their great rock icon of the times, Marilyn Manson, has openly bashed Cooper, calling him a fake. What's worse, someone who understands the difference between real life and stage life, or someone who indirectly inspired the Columbine school shooting?

It just occurred to me, Charles, that you must have missed the allusion to Hollywood Squares in Wayne's World. Why did you imagine he was spouting trivia, in the backstage scene?
