I still think Qcom is a great long term buy. I have had a bunch this year CNXT, EXDS, SNDK However their getting tougher to discover. I like a stock MFNX, IMN. As a value guy IMN might be interesting to you. Qcom was a once in a lifetime find when I bought it it was @ 15PE and growing at 40% a year It owned its own proprietary Technology and had excellent Management. I Generally try to find companies with some form of monopoly and a good PEG ratio. If you look at companies with that you would have found VRTS, GMST and others. However its not easy to get by the bullshit. I recetly started looking into SPYG. I heard they are developing software for wireless internet access. If they have a viable product their stock will rocket(look at PHCM to see what market thinks of wireless internet!)I have not done all my research yet so I am not recomending it yet.
