El,"Just curious". Are you 'overweight' in the pig, still?
I made little money from CPig and really missed that $20,
I bought around 22-28.

I think more than half-of-it is TAX-selling considering
'dead money' and I believe it will go up 'whenever the
next wave of selling' is, if it's not already here.

It should at most one more 'wave', because I think the
guys selling today or the last few weeks are planning to
take 'tax-loss' and buy back in time.

I don't believe CPig has no value. It's just a money game.
Nonetheless, it's 'intellitual gambling', I usually call
'investing' a 'sport'. Knows the rule, play the game.

Been making some phone calls. I have accounts at two different brokerages and have been on the phone with both today. Here's what both told me.
(A) both told me that earnings are very likely to hit the .05 but
(B) no-one cares because
(C) numerous calls to company are going unanswered,
(D) absolutely no news coming out of company;
(E) MC has no credibility yet;
(F) Rosen has virtually no meaningful credibility left (this opinion came from both brokerages);
(G) Lack of visibility or guidance is frightening everyone because this is so unlike what they are used to with Pfeiffer.

On the plus side;

(A) One brokerage told me that calls to purchasing agents of some of cpq's largest customers reveal no cancellations or reductions in purchases from cpq (in other words no Y2k effect);
(B) Data reflects strong sales growth of pc's at cpq and strong server growth;
(C) Although no info directly from cpq to confirm (other than their statement of about two weeks ago) it appears that taiwan earthquake will not have much impact on cpq (certainly won't have the negative impact that dell is feeling).
