Gary: I may trade this sucker but may be not today, unless it decides to go down to a more 'reasonable' (huh? did I say that?) level.

OT Gary, Unbelievable. I did get NAVI. The employees at SCMR must be very happy today, though they can only sell Friends and family shares. I wish them all well. Brian

"You impress as someone that takes risk.. That's not a sucker. A sucker is one that takes uninformed risk..... "

Tuesday night on this thread, NOBODY could answer a very simple question I had re Sycamore:

How many shares are being sold by the company? (net proceeds to company?)

Now, don't you think that is a simple and easily answered question by anyone who is informed about, and hyping, an ipo that is going out in less than 3 days??? But no answers were offered.

I have been investing in ipo's for eight years, investing in general since 1985.

"Net proceeds to company" is one of the first questions I would ask of any IPO filing. Not around here, though. Who cares? "Use of proceeds"? Again, who cares?? This is Sycamore, after all!

The "Use of Proceeds" statement in the filing could not have been more canned boilerplate if they had tried. So of course, there is no explanation of why this company is going puiblic at this time. duh.

IMO, lots of suckers tried their best to take an uninformed risk on this one. Whether they succeeded, I don't know, and I don't want to.
