The tax law is written so that a company cannot deduct over $1 million in earnings not related to performance. I believe that repriced options are not performance rated and should be taxed to both the grantor and the grantee.
Many many options and bonuses are hoaxes not related to performance. Bad joss.
I don't buy stock in companies that do not link pay to performance or maintain corporate jets or skyboxes. I read Def 14A's very carefully before I buy.
