The "shorts" are having their heads handed to them. A "rumor" that CSCO was going to pre-announce a revenue shortfall spread like fire the last ten minutes before the close. Apparently some heavily shorted CSCO guy spread a rumor on the CBOE that they were going to pre-announce at the close. Never happened. But...it cost the NASD about 40 pts.. The "shorts" are panicking. They just don't get it. Not even Greenspan can "brow beat" great earnings.
