(NYSE: !AR!) in the S&P 500 Index after the close of trading on Tuesday, October 26, 1999. Grupo Mexico (not in an S&P Index) is acquiring ASARCO Inc. DeVRY Inc. (NYSE: !DV!), an S&P SmallCap 600 component, will replace Comverse Technology in the S&P MidCap 400 Index. Barra Inc. (Nasdaq: !BARZ!) will replace DeVRY Inc. in the S&P SmallCap 600 Index.
