OT Hi, Lee....prediction for WS: Braves in 6....Braves win first 2, and then, either game 4 or 5 (whatever Maddux pitches)...and then 6 back in Atlanta... The Big 4 (Maddux, Smoltz, Millwood, Glavine) will be smokin'; NY starting pitching will falter...and their middle relief will be average (negating the advantage with Rivera).. Knoblauch is in a slump; O'Neill is hurt; Two of these three will be in a slump: Williams, Jeter, Martinez..defense not as solid..... the Yankees of '99 are not the Yankees of '98.. Braves will get (continued) clutch performances from the lesser players on the team (a la Perez)... Gosh, the Braves have the best record in the league (WITHOUT Galarraga, Lopez, and Lightenberg)..my goodness, think about the team WITH those guys! Braves early favorite for next year! Check out this lineup: (1) Jones-CF/Weiss-SS (2) Boone-2B (3) Jones-3B (4) Galarraga-1B (5) Jordan-RF (6) Klesko-LF (7) Lopez-C (8) Jones-CF/Weiss-SS (9) Pitcher * 7 of the 9 field players could hit AT LEAST 20/25 HRs next year (save Weiss/Pitchers)... In the bullpen, Rocker from the left, Lightenberg from the right.. Incredible starting pitching... Unbelievable lineup... Still bullish on the market; Still bullish on the Braves; Peeved about the Cisco rumor taking root...have a great weekend..
