I just received an E-mail from another investor in Angoss. I asked him if it was O.K. for me to post what he had written to me. His only request was for me to mention that he holds shares in the company. So, now that that has been taken care of . . . here is what he had to say.

A part of the ANGOSS vision is I think to provide the software of choice when it comes to analyzing web transactions (a transaction being a visit to a homepage, to an online purchase).

To do this ANGOSS has:

1. Partnered with WhiteCross. WhiteCross has developed the architecture and database software for a machine that will analyze 1,000,000 records in a second. (Check out www.whitecross.com for specs). WhiteCross announced that it was using ANGOSS software as the data mining tool in what it calls ExplorationStudio. In fact ANGOSS is WhiteCross's only data mining partner.

2. Partnered with Acxiom. Acxiom is a data provider with revenues of $700 million per year. ANGOSS has embedded a link to the Acxiom data network in KnowledgeExcelerator and KnowledgeAccess. This link allows users to get their hands on external data to beef up their own data analysis.

3. Started to develop KnowledgeWebMiner. KnowledgeWebMiner will I think be the flagship software to accomplish this task of analyzing internet transaction data.

4. Created parthership and a vendor relationship with MSN. MSN is Microsoft's Web portal. It looks like Microsoft is going to use Knowledge*.* to analyze web traffic to its site.

5. ANGOSS is also positioning itself to be the SDK developer kit of choice when it comes to other companies (users) creating applications for data mining. The OLE DB extension to SQL which ANGOSS is in on with Microsoft will further entrench ANGOSS as a data mining leading provider.

6. ANGOSS has partnered with Customer Analytics. Customer Analytics was founded by someone who was the VP or thereabouts of IBM's Global Solutions area. ANGOSS has certainly found partners with industrial strength growth experience.

I believe ANGOSS is heading for the big leagues.

The ANC stock price, in my opinion, is low because people's imaginations have not yet been flashed with the data mining vision. Once this happens ANC's share price should appreciate.

Or, the other scenario is that ANC revenues outpace peoples' expectations of where ANC should be and this startling realization should also boost the stock price.
